In Berlijn maakt Tomas zich op voor een culinair avontuur zonder weerga. Topchef Stefan Dadarski, die hem opwacht, wordt door de pers geroemd als de Duitse Jamie Oliver. Ook hij heeft zijn eigen gerenommeerde kokschool en daarnaast heeft hij net een nieuw restaurant geopend. Hij is dus al redelijk afgepeigerd nog voor het allemaal begint. Toch kiest hij voor de fiets om Tomas door zijn Berlijn te gidsen. Een stad die volgens Dadarski veel van haar charmes te danken heeft aan de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
